Reporting
The Hauraki Gulf Forum is a statutory body charged with the promotion and facilitation of integrated management and the protection and enhancement of the Hauraki Gulf. Jacky was engaged by the Executive Officer of the Forum to report on the State of the Hauraki Gulf from a Tangata Whenua perspective for the period 2014-2017.
The project involved reporting on key changes for Mana Whenua of the Tikapa Moana (Hauraki Gulf) over the past three years. This included reviewing legislative changes, treaty settlements, statutory and non-statutory plan changes, annual reports and monitoring data relating to Tangata Whenua and their association with the Hauraki Gulf.
